Bridging Course

Philosophy

The main objective of our English Bridging Course for foreign scholars is to develop their proficiency in the English Language, both written and spoken. Competence in the English Language will enable these students to communicate effectively by expressing themselves clearly and confidently, using the right range of vocabulary.

The intensive course closely follows the Ministry of Education’s Secondary Latest English Language Syllabus. The course is based on thematic activities that will cover personal, family and youth matters, education, schools, sports, mass media and communication, animal rights and preservation, environmental issues, crime and punishment, to name a few.

Philosophy

In line with the upcoming new syllabus, and preparing students for the through-train and in the desire to help coax the students to widening and deepening their field of knowledge, the students are taken through topics on Psychology, Sociology, the Sciences and the Arts (including History and Geography).

The lessons and activities, taught in a communicative style, strive to keep the students’ interest and encourage constant participation and interaction. This is not to say they do not concentrate on tasks especially written ones rather similar to exam-styled questions. The strength of the course is the modular and progressive approach the company has taken and the assessments set to monitor the students’ progress.
